Enniskillen Gaels power into Fermanagh SFC final
Enniskillen Gaels powered into the Fermanagh Senior Football final by overcoming Ederney 4-13 to 2-18 in Sunday's opening semi-final at Tempo.
Two goals in three minutes from Johnny Cassidy and Conor Love put Gaels 2-2 to 0-1 up after 18 minutes.
Calvan Brown netted for Ederney to cut Enniskillen's half-time advantage to 2-4 to 1-2 but while the margin was trimmed to only three early in the second half, goals from Conor Murphy and Richard O'Callaghan left the Gaels in control at 4-6 to 1-6 ahead.
Daire Gallagher fired a late major for Ederney but it was a mere consolation as the 2022 champion set up a decider against either Erne Gaels or holders Derrygonnelly who meet in Sunday's second semi-final at Kinawley.
In the opening Down Hurling semi-final, Ballygalget fought back from trailing 0-12 to 0-6 at half-time to defeat Liatroim 2-15 to 0-16.
Ballygalget will face either three-in-a-row seeking Portaferry or Ballycran who meet in Sunday's second semi-final.
