Brutal low blow ends MMA main event after 15 seconds

An unimaginably painful kick to the privates has ended the Bellator 215 main event in a no contest just 15 seconds after the first bell.

Kharitonov, 38, was floored and unable to continue after his five-minute recovery period.

He was checked on by the doctors and eventually taken out of the cage on a stretcher.

“I’m so sorry. All the fans, I’m so sorry. I know you guys stuck around. I was ready to put on a show, so was Sergei. I’m really sorry, man. I’m really sorry.”
