Lee remains undefeated in 22 fights, with his K.O. against Teah extending an impressive knockout streak to 13 bouts.
The 21-year-old traded blows with Teah for the first two rounds, before the vicious right brought the fight to an abrupt end.
Lee, who finished his amateur career with a 181-9 record before looking to the pros, said he was only getting started.
“Honestly, I don’t think I learned a whole lot tonight,” he said.
“I knew he couldn’t outbox me. I knew he couldn’t outpunch me. I knew the knockout was going to come and that one was definitely one of my top one or two favourites so far in my career.”
“This is probably my biggest accomplishment yet.
“It was a step up in competition and even the betting odds were way closer than usual. Most of the time, I’m a -5000 favourite or something like that and this time it was only -1000.
“I was getting a lot of DMs on Instagram and Twitter of people telling me that Sam is going to be tough. Sam is going to beat you. But hopefully, the doctors check him out and everything is all good.”
Reaction to the knockout blow on social media was strong.

Great shot by @Brandun_Lee. That’s how you prove that you’re a level above. Love this kid. One of the nicer fighters in the game and a badass. He’s ready for a bigger step up ... and not too far away from just plain ready. #boxing #ShoBox.

UFC fighter drops huge Paul Gallen hint
Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker admits he'd happily fight NRL great-turned professional boxer Paul Gallen - "if the money's right".
Gallen called out Whittaker after beating UFC legend Mark Hunt via unanimous points decision, in a much-hyped boxing showdown in December.
The retired Cronulla Sharks premiership winner - who is fighting former heavyweight boxing champion Lucas Browne in April - called Whittaker a "condescending prick" after extending his unbeaten boxing record in the win over Hunt.
"Someone asked if he'd fight me and he (Whittaker) said, 'Yeah, I'd fight him but he wouldn't fight me' and he laughed, like in a way that annoyed me," Gallen said after the Hunt fight.
"I felt, 'stuff you, you condescending prick, I'll fight ya.'
Whittaker, though, maintains he respects Gallen's endeavours in the ring and that he'd happily take on Cronulla's only ever NRL premiership-winning captain if the right deal could be struck.
He reportedly wants $1.5 million.
"It's funny because a lot of people bring up Gallen and me potentially fighting him," Whittaker said after a sparring session with super welterweight world title boxing hopeful Tim Tszyu in Sydney on Tuesday.
"(But) I'm already in the fight game. It's not like I need to drag my feet to do it.
"If the money's right, I'll do it. If it's not, I'll just keep doing my day job, which is fighting.
"We couldn't get things organised fast enough before I took a fight with the UFC this time, so maybe opportunities will present themselves afterwards - but we'll have to wait and see."
