Bournemouth vs Arsenal LIVE! Premier League match stream, latest score and goal updates today

Bournemouth vs Arsenal – LIVE!

Arsenal are back in Premier League action later today when they travel down to Bournemouth. Of the three early-season front-runners, the Gunners are up first and three points on the south coast would take them top of the table, albeit potentially only briefly.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be strong favourites against the Cherries, though were so against Southampton before the international break and ultimately made hard work of that and were forced to come from behind to claim a vital three points.

Arteta will no doubt be keen to see his side make life easier for themselves here, particularly with a Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk to come on Tuesday. There is hope Bukayo Saka will be fit too, which is a major boost for the Gunners. Follow all the action LIVE with Standard Sport’s dedicated match blog! Simon Collings will be providing expert analysis from the ground!

Mikel Merino is in contention to make his full Arsenal debut against Bournemouth this evening, while there are decisions to be made over the likes of Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz.

Merino has come off the bench for the Gunners in their last two games after missing the first part of the season with a shoulder injury.

Merino, who signed for Arsenal in the summer from Real Sociedad for over £30million, has been getting more minutes in his legs during the international break by playing for Spain.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is sweating on the fitness of a number of players after they picked up issues during the international break.

Saka limped off with what appeared to be a hamstring injury during England’s 2-1 loss to Greece on Thursday night.

The winger underwent a scan and was released from the England camp before their win over Finland on Sunday.

England interim boss Lee Carsley suggested the injury was not serious and there is optimism that Saka will be fit for Saturday’s trip to Bournemouth.
