'It's a joke': Tennis star's swipe at Aussie after second 'unacceptable' discovery
Kazakh star Yulia Putintseva has been vocal about her time in hard quarantine ahead of the Australian Open and has yet again called out Rennae Stubbs and the conditions she is in.
With a string of players barred from training for a fortnight in a major setback to their Australian Open preparations, stars were left fuming over the change of plans.

Putintseva was said if it was made clear to her about the rules on the chartered flights, she may have opted out of the tournament before travelling to Australia.
She also made headlines after taking to social media to complain about her hotel conditions after she appeared to film a mouse running around her hotel room.
“Been trying to change the room for a 2 hours already,” she wrote.
“And no one came to help due to quarantine situation.”
But in an unwanted twist, just three days later and a new hotel room, has yet again filmed a mouse entering her room.
it’s actually a lot of them! Not even 1 in my room now🤦🏼♀️ pic.twitter.com/uUaicOhoB5

The Kazakh star also hit out at Aussie tennis great Stubbs after she called for tennis players to stop complaining about the quarantine.
“What are you even talking about? One week is enough to prepare for the grand slam when you spend 14 days in your room playing with the wall? Well For doubles probably yes, but for singles doesn’t work that way,” she wrote.
@rennaestubbs And what do you say now? I should not complain and just go to sleep?🤦🏼♀️

all i hear is 100K everywhere🤦🏼♀️ you the one to know how much money, time and everything we spend before coming to the grand slam!!! I wouldnt come for your 100AUDk if we have to lose all our fitness and tennis shape to sit in the room for 14 days with mouses inside

Fans on social media showed compassion with Putintseva after having already moved rooms because of the rodents.
This is bonkers. Yeah, we can have a joke about it but there is also potentially a health hazard. I know the players aren't allowed to speak out about things at the moment but we need to hear more mouse stories. Don't let Yulia fight this battle all on her own.

this isn’t right...they have to do something about it, just saying the hotel is now full isn’t acceptable

This is unacceptable

However, she still came under fire for her protest earlier in the day.
The tennis star held up a cardboard sign and on social media wrote: “We need fresh air to breathe.”
But many on social media told her to stop complaining and to understand the situation she in after coming to Melbourne.
