But the great entertainer then found time to mock his rival, Nadal, before his next serve as he impersonated the Spaniard’s fiddly service routine.
Kyrgios is no stranger to taking digs at his rival, who he often claims is given an unfair advantage from the umpires when taking his time to serve.
Fans on social media went insane over the brashness of the Aussie.
.@NickKyrgios not too happy at being called on a time violation...

Every time @NickKyrgios received a time violation on serve he started pretending to pull his shorts off his bum, mimicking Nadal. Then Simon started doing it. To be fair the umpire found it funny too..#AusOpen

Only a few games later, Simon was called out for a time violation and proceeded to also impersonate Nadal, much to the amusement of Kyrgios, the chair umpire and the crowd.
Federer stuns
Roger Federer put on an absolute masterclass at the Australian Open on Wednesday night, and one ‘outrageous’ winner summed it up to perfection.
An ageless Federer left Filip Krajinovic's head spinning as he raced into the third round with a straight sets victory on Rod Laver Arena.

Federer needed just 20 minutes to wrap up the first set against the Serbian world No.41 before going on to seal the match in a masterclass performance 6-1 6-4 6-1.
And it was a moment in the second set that truly showed how far ahead of his opponent Federer was.
After Krajinovic hit a dagger of a volley low into Federer’s forehand side, the Swiss Maestro whipped a magical winner straight back past him that left fans and commentators in disbelief.
“Just shake hands,” John McEnroe said in commentary, suggesting Krajinovic might as well call it a day.
“You’ve got to be kidding.”
