'Suspicious': AFL star's house catches fire on eve of grand final
Richmond star Nick Vlastuin’s preparation for the AFL Grand Final has been interrupted after his coastal house caught fire on Friday morning.
Police are investigating how his property in Torquay, Victoria, went up in flames on Friday morning.

Fortunately, no one was inside the house at the time and emergency services were able to control the blaze before major damage to the house.
“Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicious fire which occurred in Torquay early Friday morning,” police told AFL.com.au.
“Crews quickly brought the blaze under control and only the front entrance and porch were damaged.
“Police are yet to make any arrests and the investigation is ongoing.”
Richmond star interrupted on eve of AFL Grand Final
The club were aware of the incident and released a statement.
"The club is aware of a suspicious fire which occurred early Friday morning at a Torquay property owned by Richmond player, Nick Vlastuin and his partner," the Tigers said in a statement.
"The property suffered minor fire damage to the front entrance, and there were no occupants in the home at the time."
"As Victoria Police are investigating the matter, the club will make no further comment."
Vlastuin reportedly spent his time during shutdown at his Torquay home.
The news will come as a big distraction ahead of the AFL Grand Final where Vlastuin is attempting to help Richmond win their third Premiership in the last four years.
