'What a boofhead': AFL uproar over Victorian Premier's comments
Taylor Walker has fired back at Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ comments about South Australia, labelling him a ‘boofhead’.
Andrews angered the South Australian public on Wednesday when he was asked whether the state should re-open its border with Victoria amid the coronavirus crisis.

“I don’t want to be offensive to South Australians but why would you want to go there?” Andrews said about South Australia.
“Holiday here. The best experiences in our nation are right here in Victoria.”
Andrews’ comments didn’t go down well in South Australia, with Adelaide Crows star Walker left fuming.
Walker was played Andrews’ comments on Triple M Radio and couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
“He’s on something, I don’t know what he’s taken over the corona period,” Walker said on The Rush Hour.
“Jesus Christ. What a boofhead!
“Has he actually been over to South Australia?
“We have the best beaches here, we have the best wineries here. You go North we’ve got beautiful wineries, you go South we’ve got beautiful wineries.”
South Australian Premier Steven Marshall also hit back by sharing a video of the best parts of the state.
@DanielAndrewsMP asked why anyone would want to go to South Australia.

Social media was also flooded with angry replies from South Australians.

South Australian newpaper The Advertiser also fired back with an article titled: ‘Daniel Andrews, scandal-ridden Premier of virus-plagued Victoria sledges South Australia’.
The article calls Victoria the “Australian state with the gloomiest weather, worst virus outbreaks and most overrated coffee.”
Adelaide boss will step aside if troubles continue
Meanwhile, Adelaide powerbroker Mark Ricciuto says he'll step aside if he can't help rescue the AFL club from its downward spiral.
But Ricciuto, the Crows' football director and the club's only Brownlow medallist, says he's committed to help the club rise from “a rotten couple of years”.
“If we can't do it, then I'm happy to pass the buck to someone else and give them a go to try and turn the club around,” Ricciuto told Triple M on Thursday.
“We know we have had a rotten couple of years. We're more unhappy than you could imagine about it.”
The Crows have missed the finals in consecutive seasons since their 2017 grand final loss to Richmond.
An external review at the end of last season resulted in the departures of coach Don Pyke, football manager Brett Burton and assistant coach Scott Camporeale.
