Yahoo Finance Coles giving $100 gift vouchers to shoppers: ‘Check your email’
Thousands of Aussie shoppers have received surprise gifts.
Coles shoppers are being urged to check their emails, after some lucky customers received a welcome surprise in their inboxes.
Taking to the popular Markdown Addicts Facebook group, one Aussie shopper shared her delight at receiving a $100 Coles gift voucher.
“Check your email from Flybuys guys. Coles sent me this about two weeks ago and I almost [forgot] about it,” she wrote.
“[I] placed an order just now and it worked. (I believe every code is different).”

The email, which has the subject line ‘$100 Coles Gift code for you’, is being sent out to selected Coles shoppers and Flybuys members.
“As a valued Coles customer and Flybuys member, we want to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued loyalty to Coles with a little gift,” the email reads.
“As a token of our gratitude, and to help make your budget go further, we would like to present you with a $100 Coles gift code to use on a future shop online at Coles.”
Thousands receive gifts
A Coles spokesperson said the supermarket was thanking its “most loyal shoppers who are Flybuys members”, with more surprises still to come.
“In June/July, thousands of our most engaged Flybuys members received either a physical $100 gift card sent in the post to spend in store, a digital gift code to use online with Coles, or 10,000 Flybuys bonus points, as a thank you for their loyalty to Coles,” the spokesperson said.
“It’s an ongoing initiative so there will be more ‘surprise and delight’ moments for Coles customers throughout the year.”
‘Thought it was fake’
On Facebook, other Aussies shared they had checked their emails and also received the gift voucher.
“OMG thank you for this! I got one too! Flybuys is in my hubby's email and he never checks it,” one user said.
“Yep I got one too, I thought it was fake at first but nope the code worked,” another person wrote.
“Thank you!! I completely missed the email!” a third user said.
Others weren’t so lucky, with one user commenting: “Not for me unfortunately I did check.”
“I never got one either. Must be a random selection. I always using flybuys too,” another wrote.
