And while the markets may be increasing in these eight areas, savvy buyers can still find a house for $300,000 or less.

Adelaide
It’s a capital city, but savvy buyers can still find a treasure. This 4-bedroom home is going for $299,000.
Adelaide Hills
This three-bedroom property in Adelaide Hills is priced at $300,000 – $320,000.
Barossa Valley
This home in the heart of the region is priced between $295,000 and $305,000.
Burnie-Devonport
This welcoming home in Upper Burnie has two bedrooms and is $260,000.
Mount Gambier
This striking home in South Australia has three bedrooms and is listed for $229,500.
